Misunderstandings of Men’s Skin Care
Generally speaking, men have some misunderstandings about skin care. Let’s see if you think the same way.
Misunderstanding 1: Just use soap every day
Soap is not the best choice for cleansing because frequent use of soap will affect the skin's pH. When the skin feels dry or tight, the sebaceous glands will secrete a lot of oil, making you feel more oily.
Misunderstanding 2: Acne can cure by itself or be squeezed out by hand
Acne is caused by the accumulation of dust and dead skin pores that cause sebum not to be discharged normally, leading to bacterial infection of the skin. If you squeeze the acne with your hands or let it go, it will make the acne deeper and deeper, even leaving unevenness or scars. Using a cleanser for basic care should not be ignored.
Misunderstanding 3: Diet and daily life have nothing to do with beauty
If you don’t have good eating habits, often eat greasy, spicy, and stimulating foods, and have the habit of smoking, your complexion must not look healthy or shiny enough. Therefore, you should develop good eating habits and eat more fresh vegetables and fruits; drinking more water and less smoking can effectively improve the skin.
Misunderstanding 4: Skincare products used by women can also be applied to men
Most men's skin tends to be oily and lacks water. Women's skincare products are mostly moisturizing. Most women's products are not suitable for men. Therefore, men should choose men's skincare products that are more refreshing and oil-controlling.
Misunderstanding 5: Sun protection is only a topic of concern for women
Sun protection does not mean that you are afraid of being tanned. The black holes cracked by the ozone layer are getting bigger and bigger, and the damage to the skin is getting more and more severe. Therefore, sun protection should be a matter of concern to everyone, regardless of men and women.
